With the support of the Malaysian Dental Association we are introducing changes to membership. These will help you meet the new compulsory indemnity requirements for your 2020 Annual Practicing Certificate application (APC).

COMPULSORY INDEMNITY

As part of the compulsory indemnity requirement, you will also be required to submit your Annual Practicing Certificate application with proof of your professional indemnity.

YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Dental Protection and the Malaysian Dental Association aim to support you during this time. To help you comply, your membership (including those with non-claims indemnity) from 2020 onwards will start on 1 January (the common start date) and end on 31 December.  

To be able to make this transition, if you are renewing after 1 January 2019 you will have a shorter subscription period that ends on 31 December 2019. Your price will be adjusted accordingly (pro-rata). If you are renewing on or before 1 January 2019, your subscription period will remain at 12 months. You will then be moved to the common start date at your next renewal, with enough time to submit your application for an Annual Practicing Certificate.
