Brexit update

24 February 2020

Statement from Dental Protection regarding our preparedness for Brexit.

The UK left the European Union (EU) on 31 January 2020 before entering a transition period where further negotiations will be needed to determine the UK’s new relationship with the EU.

Whilst it is difficult to predict what impact the final Brexit agreements will have, Dental Protection members can be absolutely reassured that we will continue to offer support and protection with matters arising from your professional practice, no matter what the final Brexit outcome is.

We have reviewed our operations in relation to members in Ireland and taken steps to ensure that we will be able to continue to support members in the lead up to the exit during the transition and beyond, without impediment and regardless of the eventual changes implemented as a result of Brexit

Dental Protection has a long history of providing membership and support to members in a number of countries and under different legal and regulatory frameworks. We have operated in Ireland for more than 100 years - prior to the establishment of the EU - and we remain fully committed to serving members in Ireland. You can be assured that it is very much business as usual for Dental Protection.
