Dental Protection’s Ability goes round the world

12 May 2014
In addition to its many other services to the dental profession, Dental Protection has a long history of providing innovative educational material. The publication of the Annual Review 2014 continues that tradition. What’s more, the digital version of the publication is available with three hours online CPD.

Ability is the name of this year’s publication which explores many of the different factors that impact upon our ability to practise dentistry safely and prompts the reader to consider how best to maintain their professional competence throughout a dental career. As a leading international provider of dental risk management, Dental Protection has a very practical reason for taking such an active interest in this topic.

Kevin Lewis, DPL’s Dental Director said, 'Every clinician possesses a slightly different spectrum of skills. With each year that passes, some of these skills are enhanced while others are eroded. More importantly, we all have a part to play in developing our abilities both collectively and individually.

By making Dental Protection’s publications available through our new educational platform called Prism, we hope that members of the dental team will explore the other interactive resources online that can help them to assess and maintain their own levels of ability wherever in the world they choose to practice.'

For further comment please contact David Croser, Dental Protection on +44 (0)207 399 1397 or email [email protected] for more information.

Note for Editors
  1. Prism is the name of Dental Protection’s online learning platform. Once registered members can browse through a range of courses and modules, and complete them at a time that is convenient.
