We are so grateful for the time and effort put in by the contributors of our latest digital publication. This is our 26th edition of Dental Student Australia and we are confident you will find the insights and articles valuable and appreciate all the great photos from your colleagues around Australia.

Hello from your Dental School Representative

Hi readers! Kara here, Dental Protection’s Business Development Executive and your Dental School Representative. There’s plenty to update you on since our last edition. Our team has been flying across the Nation for a range of events and looking back at all the university commitments we have attended, it really proves our dedication to the dental schools by sharing our expertise and offering continued support.

The team and I have been on the road promoting our student membership package to lots of eager new arrivals. We have sponsored many student events in this year and have been able to attend some great tradeshows and host some fantastic lectures. We had such a fun time going out to different universities and a big thanks to La Trobe, UMelb, CSU, Adelaide Uni, USyd, Griffith Uni, UWA, UQ and JCU for inviting us to be a part of their incredible events. I am pleased that our new mirrors and famous socks have been so popular with all the students.

Best wishes to all the Class of 2026 students who will be graduating in a couple of months. We are certain that your time on placement has equipped you well for next year and we hope your exam preparation for upcoming assessment goes well. Your time at Dental School has brought you a lot of amazing memories so cherish them all. You are the future of dentistry, and we know you will contribute to the profession in the most amazing ways!
