Overview:
We’re pleased to announce that Mr Fintan Hourihan, IDA Chief Executive Officer, will join us to provide an update on Probity - one of the current hot topics in Ireland. This update includes essential tips on what to watch for in third party schemes with examples of problems which have arisen.
The presentation will look at key risk management challenges facing clinicians in relation to periodontal disease including elements of professional communication and record keeping:
- Where do the main problems come from in this area of dentistry?
- How can these problems be anticipated and managed?
- How to work within your competence and experience, and to recognise the cases where it might be more sensible to refer
- What are the key clinical records that need to be kept and why? What would good clinical records in this field consist of and look like?
- What are the key consent issues and pitfalls in this area of dentistry?
